Overview: Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, Three Oaks Vineyard in Granville, Ohio is owned by Pete and Diana Hooverman.  Three Oaks Vineyard is an enjoyable place for customers to relax and have wine with friends while surrounded by the beauty of nature. Preparations are underway for another busy year in 2026 as the vineyard will host hundreds of wine enthusiasts each week. In 2026, Three Oaks Vineyard will be open from May 29 through November 21  on Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 2 pm to 9 pm.

Position Summary: Three Oaks is seeking to hire part-time Wine Stewards (bartender/servers) for the 2026 season. The work schedule starts May 22 and runs through the end of October. It would be an ideal position for an outgoing individual who is passionate about wine. The Wine Steward will interact and spend their evenings with the customers serving as the point of contact and offering their expertise to guide the customer on the journey through Three Oaks Vineyard’s wine offerings. A knowledge and passion of wine is important  and Three Oaks will train the Wine Steward in specific winery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and ensure an excellent guest experience
• Take and serve customer orders for wine and food
• Pour wine, provide bottles with glasses for bar and patrons
• Conduct wine tastings for customers and assess their needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Present winery menu
• Create and maintain bar tab
• Accept and transact customer payments

Qualifications of an Ideal wine Steward

• Must be 21-years of age
• Previous experience as bartender or waitress preferred but not necessary
• Knowledge of wine 
• Previous experience with food preparation a plus
• Team player
• Outgoing personality who thrives on interacting with people
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. (example, case of wine)
• Ability to stand and walk up to 9 hours per day
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Salary, Benefits

• The Wine Steward position pays $11 an hour plus tips
• Wine tasting training

• Friday            3:30 pm to 9 pm
